Day 1 Yangon (B)
Upon arrival at the airport in Yangon, transfer and check-in at the hotel in the city. The afternoon is at your leisure to enjoy and explore the surroundings and the many markets. In the evening visit the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 2 Yangon - Bago - Yangon (B)
After breakfast, drive through the picturesque landscape some 80 kilometres north-west of Yangon to Bago. Bago was the capital of the Mon kingdom which origins lay back in the 6th centuries. In Bago visit first a beautiful 55 meter long reclining Buddha. Then visit the Shwethalyaung and Shwemawdaw pagoda which is built in the traditional Mon-style and about 114 m high. Afterwards stop at the restored palace of Kambozathi followed by a subsequent stroll through the colourful market of the city. On the way back to Yangon visit a war cemetery of allied troops in the vicinity of Htaukkyan and a bamboo plant. Back in Yangon, visit the Kaba Aye Pagoda, Maha Pasana Guha Cave, the Buddhist meditation centre and an art museum. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 3 Yangon - Thanlyin (Syriam) - Yangon (B)
After breakfast drive to the Thanlyin, Kyaik-Khauk and Kyaik-Mhawwun Yele Pagoda. In the afternoon drive back to Yangon and sightseeing around the Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, Chinatown and visit a fresh fruit market. On the way back stop at the Sule and the Botataung Pagoda. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 4 Yangon (B)
In the morning visit the 70-meter-long reclining Buddha Chaukhatakyi, the Karaweik hall and the royal barge on the Royal Kandawgyi Lake. Transfer back to the airport in Yangon.
