| Extensive tour through the capital Yangon with its colonial-style city centre, many pagodas, China Town and the colourful markets scattered throughout the city. The tour offers a great introduction to the culture and people of the country. |

Day 1 Yangon (B)
Upon arrival at Yangon airport, transfer to hotel for check in. In the evening visit the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda. The top rises about 100 meters into the sky and processed with over 60 tons of gold. Return to the hotel in Yangon by night.
Day 2 Yangon (B)
On the morning after breakfast, pick up at the hotel and start of a full day tour through the colourful city. Focus of this tour, besides the important historical places are the lives of everyday people in the capital of Myanmar. By car and sometimes on foot the tour leads initially to the Sule Pagoda in the city centre. Then walk through the Mahabandoola Park and visit the old colonial courthouse and City Hall. The tour then goes to the old city of Yangon, with its many historic buildings built in colonial style. Relax during a short break at a local tea shops. Enjoy Burmese tea with the usual relaxed atmosphere of the city. Then visit the National Museum and the 70m long reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi. In the late afternoon visit the Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, Chinatown and a fresh fruit market. Transfer back to the hotel in Yangon.
Day 3 Yangon (B)
Visit the Kaba Aye Pagoda, Maha Pasana Guha Cave and the Buddhist Art Museum. Visit a nearby lapidary. Here, the editing and polishing of precious stones and the famous rubies can be observed at close range. Transfer to the airport in Yangon.
